Allied Automation Names Jim Jacobs Design Engineer

In this position, Jacobs will design custom automation devices and machines to address various technical client projects. Jacobs has 14 years of experience in the design engineering industry. Before joining Allied Automation, he spent two years working for Filamatic in Baltimore as a mechanical design engineer. In this position, he designed custom liquid filling equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Jacobs worked with Eaton Corporation in Roxboro, N.C., for 11 years developing designing production machinery. His specific areas of expertise included precision component assembly and grinding.
