DisplaySearch Announces Final Agenda for Display Week 2010 Business Conference

AUSTIN, Texas, May 10, 2010DisplaySearch, the worldwide leader in display market research, today unveiled the final agenda for the upcoming SID DisplaySearch Business Conference, to be held on Monday, May 24 during Display Week 2010 in Seattle, Washington. Co-organized with The Society for Information Display (SID), the leading global organization dedicated to the advancement of electronic display technology, the conference will feature presentations from top executives of leading companies throughout the display supply chainbridging the massive business of electronic displays and the critical enabling technologies at the heart of the latest electronic devices.

The SID DisplaySearch Business Conference is focused on the intersection of display business and technology, noted Paul Semenza, Senior Vice President of DisplaySearch. The conference will cover many of the markets and applications for the key technologies that will be discussed throughout Display Week. Semenza continued, The combination of world-class market data and insights from DisplaySearch analysts and executives from key industry participants will provide a significant value for attendees.

Following an exciting keynote presentation, this years event will feature five dedicated sessions on Mobility, The Evolving TV, Touch, OLED Displays and Lighting, Pocket Projectors, as well as E-paper and Flexible Displays.

Keynote Address

Session I: Mobility: Tablets in the Mainstream?

Speakers in this session will discuss the definition of the tablet and how it will compete with mini-notes and other dedicated reading devices. The importance of the display and implications for the industry will also be addressed.
