Accession : The OECD Council at Ministerial level welcomes its new members Israël, Estonia and Slovenia

During the OECD Ministerial meeting, a ceremony and a press conference were organised to celebrate the accession of new member countries to the OECD: Estonia, Israel and Slovenia.
The OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi - Chair of this year's ministerial Council meeting - and accession countries' Prime Ministers, Andrus Ansip (Estonia), Benjamin Netanyahu (Israel) and Borut Pahor (Slovenia) attended these two events.
