Canadian firm wins U.S. Marine Corps parts contract worth US$41.5M

General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada has won a US$41.5-million contract to supply spare parts to the U.S. Marines Corps for their RG-31 Mk5E vehicles, the company said Monday.

The Canadian unit of U.S. defence contractor General Dynamics Corp. (NYSE:GD) won a contract last month to build 250 of the vehicles to the U.S. Defence Department under the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle program.

The contract was signed through the Canadian Commercial Corp., a Crown agency.
