We here at ECN love to hear what you have to say, so for our April issue we’re opening up the Brainstorm discussion to our faithful readers. We want to hear your thoughts about home energy and the future of technology.

Typically, the Brainstorm is an editorial section consisting of short commentary by five or six experts in a particular vertical market. Check out the Brainstorm archive, here.

Aprils’s topic is “Smart Grid,” so we’re asking you to give us the lowdown on what's happening in the smart grid market.

The question we’re looking to answer: “What home energy management technology do you expect to see as a breakthrough in the next 12 months?”

What we’re looking for is a short (anything from two sentences to 250 words) blurb answering the question to be considered for publication online and in our print issue.

So, if you have some killer premonitions on what the next year will hold, send me an email at by March 1.
