Energy News: DDP, a maker of commercial lighting products, announced a new partnership with the California Lighting Technology Center at the University of California / Davis. CLTC is working on projects to create better LED efficacy, in smaller packages, with less heat emission and with more efficient photometric attributes, but timeframes for those projects are not yet public, officials said. DDP staff will work with the CLTC's students and employees and will provide an unspecified amount of funding.
