Energy News: The government of Denmark wants to get 75% of its energy from offshore wind farms by 2025. That's an extremely impressive goal, if it's plausible. "We aim to make Denmark independent of oil, gas and coal in the long term ... and strengthen our position as a world leader in clean energy," Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said, according to the AFP article. The country also is home to Vestas, the world's biggest wind turbine maker.
