Op-Ed: The Staples chain of office supply stores announced an electronics recycling program today. For a $10 fee, they'll recycle big objects such as towers and monitors, while small items like keyboards and mouses are free. (I prefer "mouses" to distinguish between multiple pointing devices and multiple furry woodland creatures.) Staples has organized one-day computer recylcing events before, particularly in the Seattle area, and they already routinely accept items such as ink cartridges. (Not near a Staples, or just prefer to support community organizations? You still have plenty of choices. Look herehereherehereherehere, and here.)
