Energy News: Sixteen cities around the world are signing up for a new focus on green building technology, former U.S. President Bill Clinton will announce at a climate summit in New York today. Government builds in New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Berlin and Tokyo will highlight the project, which includes $1 billion of support from major banks such as Citigroup Inc., Deutsche Bank AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co., UBS AG, and ABN Amro.
