Smaller than the tip of a pencil, the AD8235 instrumentation amplifier from Analog Devices is also presented as having up to 50% less power consumption than similar products. The 1.6 mm x 2.0 mm device operates with an input from 1.8 V to 5.5 V and draws 40 microamps (max) of current with a 6-nA shutdown current and a 40-pA bias current.
