Remote Power Reboot Switch Cycles Power to 8 Devices via Internet

Electro Standards introduces its Model 4404 Remote Power Reboot Switch with 10-BASE-T LAN/WAN Access. This Power Reboot Switch enables the user to cycle power to eight remotely located devices. Equipment prone to lock up problems is plugged into the Model 4404’s AC power outlets.

Older CFLs Interfere with Cable TV Equipment

Phillips Electronics has admitted that early CFL models can interfere with cable TV equipment. When CFLs first turn on, their flickering affects the infra-red sensors on remote control receivers. This causes TVs to randomly turn on and off and switch channels.
