HFS-2500The HFS-2500 from EM Research operates over 2000 - 2500 MHz for advanced Electronic Warfare applications. This unit features exceptionally-low phase noise (<-121 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz offset), fast switching (<5 mSec), 10 MHz step size, +5 dBm output power; supply voltages are +5VDC A-VCC / +8VDC D-VCC and programming is via 3-wire serial interface. The HFS-2500 is housed in a small, surface-mount package (1.25” x 1” x 0.24”) and operates in harsh environments over the temperature range -40°C to +85°C.

EM Research offers the HFS-Series in custom designs from 50 MHz to 8 GHz with fixed-to-greater-than octave bandwidths, step sizes of 100 KHz to 10 MHz, and output power levels to +15 dBm. The HFS-Series is available with customer-supplied references from 5 to 125 MHz or optional internal references, and with select supply voltages (+5, +8 or +12 VDC).

The D&D bracer is a fairly quick, fun, nerdy LilyPad project. The final product is a wearable bracer with a display that will randomly generate numbers between 1 and 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 in response to arm movement, so it can effectively replace all of the dice in your bag for a D&D session.

I'd like some genius to define sustainable. Could we count something that we can keep doing for 100 billion years - beyond the death of the Universe as we currently understand such things - as sustainable? How about a billion years?
