SiGe SE7262LHaving IEEE 802.16e and WiMAX Forum specification, SiGe Semiconductor’s SE7262L 2.5-GHz power amplifier targets battery-powered applications, including USB accessories, PC cards and embedded cards for laptop computers, for mobile WiMax. The 4 × 4 × 0.9-mm device delivers more than 20% efficiency at output power of 25.5 dBm while operating at 3.3 V. The amplifier offers an on-chip power detector, step attenuator and harmonic filter in an operating temperature range from -40ºC to 85ºC. Pricing is $2.85 in 10,000 quantities.
