ec83pi801aPhoenix Contact announced its PLC-RELAY, a high-current terminal block relay with plug-in SPDT contacts for applications requiring a nominal current rating up to 10A or those that need to improve the electrical life of the contacts. Measuring 14 mm wide, the relay’s contacts are larger than a standard 6 mm terminal block relay. These contacts help to extend service intervals two to three times longer than the standard relay, while adding security for uncertain load conditions at the same time. They are a reliable alternative to ice cube relays, and they feature a plug-in bridging system, eliminating daisy chain wiring and reducing installation time. The relays connect to 6 mm and 14 mm PLC-RELAYS using a press fit bridge.
