Sensor Products’ Pressurex sensor film maps and measures contact pressures at the interface of fuel cell membranes. It measures pressure from 2- 43,200 PSI (0.14 - 3,000 kg/cm2) in eight pressure ranges. The film instantaneously and permanently changes color when placed at the interface directly proportional to the actual pressure applied to it. The precise pressure magnitude is easily determined by comparing color variation results to a color correlation chart. Variations in contact pressure are immediately visible as different shades of color on the film which can be imaged further if desired. Numerous white papers have been written using Pressuex sensor film in fuel cell apps, and special pricing is being offered to researchers at universities and institutions who purchase the film before November 30, 2010 for any application.
