Universal Crimp Press Molex Incorporated announced its heavy-duty TM-4000 Universal Crimp Press, which provides up to 31 kN (7000 lbf) for bench-top crimping large lug products of up to 4 AWG. This direct-drive press is designed for mid-volume, semi-automatic bench-top operations such as those found in the automotive, industrial and commercial markets. Capable of production rates of up to 2,400 terminations per hour, the TM-4000 offers contract manufacturers, assembly houses and design engineers a method applying a wide range of side- and rear-feed terminals to heavy-gauge wires. The TM-4000 accepts most industry standard applicators, including air-feed applicators that process terminals mounted on Mylar tape, as well as FineAdjust and Mini-Mac applicators with side and rear feeds. Two attached safety interlock switches prevent the press from cycling if the guard is open or when it is being hand cycled.

The D&D bracer is a fairly quick, fun, nerdy LilyPad project. The final product is a wearable bracer with a display that will randomly generate numbers between 1 and 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 in response to arm movement, so it can effectively replace all of the dice in your bag for a D&D session.

Sustainable?
Sustainable?

I'd like some genius to define sustainable. Could we count something that we can keep doing for 100 billion years - beyond the death of the Universe as we currently understand such things - as sustainable? How about a billion years?
