1200W power supplyPower-One, Inc. announced the availability of its SFD1200-12BG 1200 W front-end DC/DC power supply. This product provides a 12 VDC, 99.2 A maximum rated output and features efficiencies up to 91 percent from a -48 VDC input. The supply can be used in data centers, servers and storage equipment. Featuring an industry standard 3.07” (78 mm) width, the supply minimized the use of space inside the customer product and maximizes panel area for I/O and user interface. Additional features include a standby 3.3 V at 3 A output, as well as I2C monitoring and control. Protections include output over voltage, output overcurrent, and over temperature. The SFD1200-12BG meets international safety requirements for ITE and is CE marked to the Low Voltage Directive (LVD).

The D&D bracer is a fairly quick, fun, nerdy LilyPad project. The final product is a wearable bracer with a display that will randomly generate numbers between 1 and 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 in response to arm movement, so it can effectively replace all of the dice in your bag for a D&D session.
