Power-One’s HBA48T12280 350-W half-brick DC/DC converter for cellular infrastructure applications and more specifically to RF amplifier applications has a smooth efficiency curve that equals or exceeds 90 percent for loading conditions ranging from 40 to 100 percent. Its trim range allows it to be configured to operate within a 21 V to 33 VDC output, allowing it to be used across RF amplifier technologies. Additional features include: 36 V to 75 VDC input range, -40°C to 100°C operating temperature range, capability to withstand a 100 V input transient for 100 ms, ability to start-up into pre-biased loads, and an on-board input differential LC-filter. The HBA48T12280 has an industry-standard half-brick footprint (2.4 × 2.28-inch, 61 mm × 57.9 mm), a low profile 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) height, and is RoHS compliant for all six substances. Protections include: output overvoltage and overcurrent, input undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature shutdown. Interface and trim capabilities include: remote sense, and remote ON/OFF (positive or negative logic option.

Dungeons and Dragons Dice Gauntlet

The D&D bracer is a fairly quick, fun, nerdy LilyPad project. The final product is a wearable bracer with a display that will randomly generate numbers between 1 and 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 in response to arm movement, so it can effectively replace all of the dice in your bag for a D&D session.

Sustainable?
Sustainable?
