MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) — Software maker Intuit Inc. said Wednesday that season-to-date sales of its TurboTax federal income tax preparation products are up 10 percent from a year earlier.

The company has sold about 15.2 million units through March 13, compared with 13.8 million units in the prior-year period.

Intuit's results were helped significantly by sales of TurboTax Web units, which are up 20 percent from a year ago.

"We're pleased with how the tax season is progressing and continue to see strong growth online fueled by the increasing popularity of do-it-yourself tax software," Dan Maurer, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit's consumer group, said in a statement.

The company said it will provide a final update on units sold after the tax season ends next month.

Intuit's stock added 12 cents to $34.76 in morning trading.

The D&D bracer is a fairly quick, fun, nerdy LilyPad project. The final product is a wearable bracer with a display that will randomly generate numbers between 1 and 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, or 100 in response to arm movement, so it can effectively replace all of the dice in your bag for a D&D session.

Sustainable?
Sustainable?

I'd like some genius to define sustainable. Could we count something that we can keep doing for 100 billion years - beyond the death of the Universe as we currently understand such things - as sustainable? How about a billion years?
