The HotSpot Welder is a portable capacitive discharge wire welding unit that allows thermocouple wire to be formed into free-standing bead or butt welded junctions, or to be directly welded to metal surfaces. The HotSpot provides a quick, simple, accurate, low cost means of fabricating thermocouples on a "when needed, where needed" basis.
