Ember Corp. announced its EmberZNet PRO 3.1 ZigBee networking software to support the ZigBee PRO feature set. The stack combines scalability, security and resilience with compatible proprietary features for denser networks, “sleepy” (power saving) nodes and mobile nodes. These features make PRO 3.1 appropriate for applications in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), home automation and monitoring, and building automation systems.
