Servo Drive Measures Motor Shaft Position
April 1, 2008 10:51 am | Product Releases | CommentsLenze-AC Tech released its resolver-based Model 941 position servo drive that measures the position of the motor shaft within a revolution, while an incremental encoder can only know the relative position of the shaft. This position servo has an integrated resolver with a scalable emulated encoder output for applications that require tight positioning control. The output scales the resolution back into the user’s controller, providing 15 options of positioning resolution. Users can also choose their own level of control with the position servo drive’s capability of controlling basic torque and velocity applications up through fully programmable coordinated motion.
Switching Modules Address ARINC 608A Requirements

The products can be supported in any 3U PXI chassis, and they can be supported in a proprietary LXI modular switching chassis. Model 40-569 is a 4- or 8-slot BRIC module that integrates a 16-wire analog bus with BUS matrix cards and resource distributor cards in accordance with Appendix D of the ARINC 608 specification.
WAN Processing Boards Provide Carrier Class Features

Both adapter boards integrate onto host CPU PCI and PMC sites to build processing systems that address high-density wireless, wireline, SS7 and network convergence applications. The carrier-class adapters offer single, dual or quad front panel T1/E1/J1 ports that are accessible through shielded RJ-48c connectors for easy cabling and low emissions.
